Kairos is a Christian, ecumenical, volunteer, lay-led continuing ministry, formed to help incarcerated people build strong Christian communities inside prison walls. It begins with a three day short course and continues with small prayer and share groups. Cookies are distributed to every resident and staff member during the weekend as a tangible way to share Christian love.
Due to prison regulations these cookies must be store bought and left in the original packaging, and they cannot contain any sort of fruit or be covered in powdered sugar.
One hundred (100) dozen cookies are needed for the upcoming Kairos. If you would like to help, please bring your cookies to the church office or to the Narthex on Sundays prior to February 19.
