How To Join St. Mark’s

We would be honored if you would consider becoming a member of St. Mark’s.

At Baptism, we promise to “do all in our power to support you in your life in Christ.”  We take that very seriously. We seek, as individuals and as a community, to live transformed lives as Christ’s followers.

You will never be pressured to join, but we would be honored if you were to choose to. You may join St. Mark’s in one of four different ways.

1.)  As a Baptized Member: Any baptized person may become a member by indicating your intention to do so to the Priest-in-Charge in person, by letter or by simply clicking here to send an email.

2.)  Through Confirmation
: Adult members become confirmed by attending a series of confirmation classes where the Episcopal Church is explored in detail and by the laying on of hands by our Bishop during the service of Confirmation.

3.)  By Transfer: If you would like to transfer your membership from another Episcopal Church please contact our Priest-in-Charge to request a letter of transfer from your former church.

4.)  By Reception: Members of the Roman Catholic or Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCA) are received as confirmed members by our Bishop during the service of Confirmation.
