Baptismal Support Needed Our homes are where spiritual nurturing begins and where we want to help make God present in our children’s daily lives. The parish family of St. Mark’s has begun a new ministry this year of giving a Faith Chest to each baptismal family. Providing this gift is one way we can support families and show our commitment to the baptismal promises they have made. The items in the chest are spiritual aids the families can use to nuture their child’s faith. These Faith Chests have been fully funded and organized by the Christ Child Guild. If you would like to help with the funding or organization of Faith Chests, contact Sandra Cone (sandramcone@comcast.net).

Next Sunday
Vision Awareness Sunday Join us Sunday, Nov. 8, when we will gather as a parish family to celebrate the renewal of St. Mark’s vision. Over the last couple of years much prayer and hard work has gone into rediscovering who we are as a congregation and who we desire to be in our community. Vision Awareness Sunday is the culmination of our efforts and will feature three speakers and a professionally produced video presentation.
Two of our speakers will reveal the ways God has been at work in our parish community in the past as well as in the present. The final speaker will focus on our future vision. The video features special music and interviews with some people you’re sure to recognize as they share their dreams for the future. Seating will be limited to the nave due to the video presentation. There will not be a 5:00 p.m. service that day, so plan to join us at either morning service in Renewing our Vision and Embracing the Future.
