St. Mark’s members respond to God’s call to serve others through outreach ministries in our community, nation, and world. We are active in ministries at St. Francis House, Family Promise, and Rice Depot. We express God’s love through a variety of caring ministries and by addressing many unforeseen needs in our community and parish. We proclaim the Good News of the transforming love of God in Christ with those around us.
In response to God’s abundance, we seek to share generously our time, talent, and treasure with others. As stewards we strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and renew the life of the earth. Christ calls us to love one another. That love is manifest in the world through our actions. The members of St. Mark’s are active participants in Christ’s love. The results run the gamut – from trimmed shrubbery to Habitat for Humanity houses, from polished silver to food for the hungry. To answer the question at the top of the page—everyone is our neighbor. We are all called to work in service of others. There are a thousand ways to do that every day. Would you join us as the hands of Christ in the world?
