Small Groups

In addition to our Sunday morning offerings, there are further opportunities for individual spiritual and personal growth through two ongoing small group formats:

ChristCare Groups provide the caring relationships and spiritual growth that occur within the nurturing environment of a small group.  ChristCare Groups usually meet weekly or twice a month.  Members grow as disciples of Jesus by participating in the four ChristCare Group activities: community building and care, Biblical equipping, prayer and worship, and missional service.  A trained, commissioned, and supervised leader supplies a Christ-centered and life-transformational small group.  To learn more, contact Luke Gilbert, Family Ministries Coordinator.

Journey in Faith: The Catechumenate

For those wanting to become more involved at St. Mark’s, for those wishing to be confirmed or baptized, for those wanting to deepen their faith or learn more about the Episcopal tradition. The evening class includes a simple snack and a brief time of fellowship followed by a presentation. Following the presentation, small groups break out for discussion.  Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8, September-mid-December.  Child care is provided. For schedule and enrollment information, contact Linda Walker, Parish Secretary.
