Finding God in the Dark
Part of the Year A, Lent series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Sometimes the Light comes to us through the darkness. Disorienting periods of darkness can happen for many reasons, i.e., divorce, unexpected death, disaster, addictions, etc. God is oftentimes right in the midst of the darkness waiting to embrace us with words of love and mercy. God sent his Son into the world to save it - not condemn it.
