Each summer you can send your kids to Vacation Bible School at St. Mark’s.
Through VBS, St. Mark’s reaches out into the community. Children from St. Mark’s and the surrounding area join a community of faith to learn how God calls us to be His eyes, arms, legs, and heart in the world.
Themes for VBS stretch from Old to New Testament scripture. The Christian Education board works diligently to come up with an entertaining, joyful, and spiritual program each year.
This year come and Shake It Up! at St. Mark’s Vacation Bible School July 11-15, 2011!
Enjoy a fresh, one-of-a-kind VBS at Shake It Up Café – where kids carry out God’s recipe. In this kid-friendly café full of chef’s hats and aprons, pots and pans, checkered tablecloths, and chalkboard menus, kids explore the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God’s word. Through interactive lessons, that are easy for kids to apply to their lives today, boys and girls will celebrate biblical festivals that reveal ingredients for being a follower of God. My Name is Luke Gilbert, and I was the Director of CAMP EDGE!
At Camp E.D.G.E. Vacation Bible School, kids went on an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition to an Extreme Adventure Camp that taught them that their strength and might come from God. Through rockin’ music, extreme skits, cool crafts, mind-boggling science activities, and energy filled games, kids learned how to live on the E.D.G.E. – Experiencing and Discovering God Everywhere!
